Our practice consists of five physicians, two physician assistants, and a certified nurse midwife/nurse practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.

We provide full service to our obstetrical patients and have accessibility to perinatal services as well as collaboration with infertility services and gynecologic oncology. We provide female healthcare starting in adolescence and extending through the geriatric population. We also provide in-office Ultrasound.

The physicians at Mountain View pride themselves on keeping current with the most up-to-date education and procedures available in women's healthcare. We perform advanced gynecologic and urogynecologic procedures that are being performed at universities and large hospital centers, not something you would typically see in a community hospital.

All of our physicians are board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and are actively affiliated with Hanover Hospital. All of our physicians and nurse midwives are also certified in neonatal resuscitation.

  
 
Dr. Linda Neiswender Attends the ACOOG Fall Conference.

Dr. Linda Neiswender has just returned from the annual ACOOG (American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists) Fall Conference, which was held in Philadelphia. Dr. Neiswender returned with information which will allow Mountain View to enhance the skills needed to diagnose and manage common and uncommon clinical challenges that we face in a modern OB/GYN practice. As Dr. Neiswender shares the information she received, we, as a practice, will also be able to apply advances in technology and therapeutics to facilitate improved patient care and outcomes.

  
 
Dr. Susan Peck ISCD recertification

Dr. Susan Peck has just received her recertification from ISCD (International Society for Clinical Densitometry). This is an arduous process which requires at least 35 hours of educational activity from a minimum of two programs in the field of bone densitometry, osteoporosis, or metabolic bone disease. Dr. Peck also recently attended the Planned Parenthood Family Planning Forum in Washington D.C. Dr. Peck spent time at this forum reviewing the latest in family planning policy.

  
 
Lectures at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Our physicians have been busy during the month of October sharing their knowledge and experience by lecturing to medical students at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our physicians have lectured there for many years and the wisdom and experience they can pass on to these up-and-coming young people is beneficial to both students and physicians alike.

  
 



Meet Dr. Kristy Crawford, New OB/GYN at Mountain View

Kristy Crawford, D.O., has joined Mountain View OB-GYN Ltd. A native of Oakhill, WV, Dr. Crawford earned her Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, KY before attending the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. As a resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Philadelphia, she served as Didactic Coordinator in 2008-2009 and Chief Resident in 2009-2010. When the hospital closed its training program in January 2010, she transferred to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ where she served on the Resident Leadership Committee and as Administrative Chief Resident in 2010-2011.

“I always liked science and biology,” says Dr. Crawford about why she got into medicine in the first place. She started out on the track to becoming a physician’s assistant (PA), but then her OB/GYN motivated her to use those core requirements toward pre-med and ultimately obstetrics and gynecology.

12-01-2011 - Our physician assistant, Anita Ashton, as well as our Nurse Midwife, Katie Page, are now certified to do colposcopies.  Both Anita and Katie attended the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology conference which was held in Philadelphia in October of 2010. They have brought back to our office the latest 2011 pap smear guidelines.
