Many women lose their urine with activity such as

Some women are aware of the location of every bathroom because of
urinary urgency and frequency. They need to wear pads to keep from

When indicated, women are sent to specialized physical therapists to
increase vaginal muscle tone which often results in a decrease in
incontinence. This is also successful with pelvic pain when muscle
tension is the cause.
Cystometric studies in the office to diagnose the origin of your bladder
problem in order to plan the proper treatment
Complete vaginal prolapse surgery is available for a dropped bladder, dropped rectum or dropped uterus. This can be done with
minimally invasive vaginal surgery and we also specialize in uterine
preservation when indicated or desired. This means we can save the
uterus and repair the dropped bladder.
Interstim procedures are done in the office on a trial basis to help
diagnose women with urgency and frequency and to see if they will be a
candidate for this nerve-block technique. Wires are placed into the
sacrum and stimulate the bladder nerves to relax the bladder and
decrease urgency and frequency. If the test works, a permanent battery
can be implanted and then oral medications can often be stopped. See the

Interstim
Women who have a non-functioning urethra can have bulking agents
injected to help close the valve between the bladder and the urethra and
